Haven't posted much this summer. Been deprived of fishing since the first week of June, yes June. Between Being out straight at the boatyard and company, summer has flown by. Our big project was launched last week and is being rigged this week and company has slowed until the end of Sept. AHHH. My season has arrived. Sept and Oct are my favorite times for LL Salmon and Brookies. I forsee good days to come.
As always with fish deprivation comes thoughts of fishing trips and plans must be made. I like to plan some trips way out. For the last two years I've gone to North Georgia to kick off the season in April. Had great fishing and great guides and companions in Ga and highly recommend it to anyone. That said. Next spring we are thinking of North Carolina trout fishing. Asville area. I'm looking on the net for guides and cabins. Anyone have any suggestions? Cameron? My Old Buddy Joe and I are looking for a day on Private water and a day on public water, both guided. We will be looking for unguided fishing ideas for other days also. For lodging we are looking for Rustic housekeeping cabins that will sleep minimum 4. Nothing fancy for this crowd. Comfort and privacy is all we need.
