ANTS + BEETLES = CUTTHROAT SURFACE ACTION
When we lived near RMNP in Colorado I used to hike up to a couple of the greenback cutthroat lakes and all you really needed in the fly box was small (size 18 or 20) black foam beetles and red or black ants. boarmountain...excellent trip report and great to see that these patterns work on other cutthroat species as well. |
